MS has the really neat feature called "Objects". You should look at the manual on them. If you are used to classical programming languages like C and Fortran, they are like the structures they have.
In your case, this is what is being returned. By way of an example, I swiped the example for Solve from the manual. The variable results is a MS object. You can access the first level via results.x or results(x). The second level down syntax requires the subscript form, results(x,1).
