I am searching for a command that would compute inverse of the given function.
y = e^x
inverse would be:
y = ln(x)
So does command like this exist?
I'm a little confused by your question. If y = e^x, then x = ln(y), not y=ln(x). You can use Solve to get to x = ln(y) via Solve(y=e^x,x), which will solve the equation for x.
Inverse function is when you swap x and y and than solve it for y.
