Not that I am aware of. Quickest way around this is perhaps to write yourself a function to will do just that. It's not all that hard. Just write out the taylor expansion of e^x and then substitute your matrix for x.
f(x) = Series(exp(x), x, 8)
f([1, 0], [0,1]])
Undoubtedly you will need to play with how far to expand the series to get the accuracy you want.
