Certainly seems so. The a <= b ? a : b works fine standalone, but when made into a fcn it seems to be stuck on the first argument..
xx = 10; yy = 7
xx < yy ? xx:yy
mmm(x,y) = x < y ? x:y
I think for some reason the fcn definition is being evaluated. Look at the result when you just have the fcn defined by itself:
mmm(x,y) = (x < y) ? x:y
So it seems it will aways return x since that is what it reduces to.
One upside, the following seems to work:
return (x < y) ? x:y
